As a business analyst, I was responsible for assisting Project Managers and Technical Leads on the redesign of the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project online query system (HCUPnet). I also developed data graphics, dashboards, and other visualizations in both Excel and Tableau for the Initiative to Reduce Avoidable Hospitalizations Among Nursing Facility Residents (NFI), as well as the Frontier Community Health Integration Project Demonstration (FCHIP) for the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).• Assisted with developing and maintaining all levels of project requirements and technical specifications across the Software Development Life Cycle.• Assembled project deliverable reports, analyses, and documentation in accordance with CMMI-Level 3 requirements.• Coordinated with project manager to highlight priority items in development and ensured team adhered to timetable established with client.• Managed data collected from 10 Critical Access Hospitals (CAHs) in rural areas as part of SNF/ ambulatory, and telehealth initiatives.• Generated data visualizations in both Excel and Tableau, including reports graphics and interactive dashboards, for data provided by seven Enhanced Care and Coordination Providers.

As a business requirements coordinator, I created and updated database user manuals and documentations for the Maryland Healthcare Commission Medical Care Database (MHCC-MCDB). I created training videos and guides, as well as conducted individual demonstrations for users representing 24 private healthcare payers that work in the state of Maryland on how to use the MCDB Portal to submit and validate healthcare data. I also provided technical and task resolution support to users as well as participated in the data quality control process.• Implemented Field Record Layout Guide for MCDB Data Submission Manual, reducing page count from 101 pages to 21.• Created web portal tutorials, including videos and guides, to be used by 24 private health insurers in the state of Maryland.• Documented business rules for data submissions and ETL system transfers to the data warehouse.

I spent six months with Green Scene as part of the capstone project required during pursuit of my master's degree, during which time I spearheaded the design and implementation of a strategic plan focused around leveraging a unique brand identity and superior customer service to stay competitive in a uniform marketplace.Responsibilities:• Assisted organizational leaders with designing and implementing a company-wide strategic plan.• Instituted a customer feedback index to evaluate customer experiences.

I was the teaching assistant for UMBC's I/O Psychology program, specifically data analysis and advanced statistics, for the better part of a year. I fondly recall developing individualized learning strategies on a student-by-student basis. Everyone learns differently, and such a varied approach gave me a deeper understanding of the knowledge itself.Responsibilities:• Provided structured feedback to support the development of statistical skills and knowledge of first-year students.• Engaged in after-hours tutoring sessions for individuals with additional needs.• Taught structured review sessions for midterm and final examinations.• Demonstrated multiple data analysis techniques to students in SPSS.

I balanced school life, social life, and RA life for three years, during which time I received ample experience in conflict resolution, problem solving, and time management.
