Applied data science techniques to anti-money laundering (AML) in the BSA/AML division at First Republic. This work flow was applied to several different areas of AML including ponzi scheme detection, penny stock trading, and suspicious brokerage transfers.Created applications via full stack web development to serve client information to AML investigators. The work resulted in predictions of fundamental thermodynamic properties of thermoelectric materials. I also synthesized bulk and thin film semiconductor materials, and designed and built instruments to measure electronic and thermal properties of the materials.
