- Migrated our product from Azure Cloud Service Classic to Azure Web App- Migrated DNS to Azure DNS- Rebuilt Active Directory, Windows DNS, setup Azure AD Connect, setup a Device Tunnel VPN, rebuilt Azure VPN to use Azure Entra ID authentication- Scripted our dev/testing environments in PowerShell to increase Azure environments our developers are able to use for testing. This took the process from days to build a new environment to minutes.- Implemented Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and Cloud- Migrated all of our employees from local accounts to AD accounts- Was part of a shared effort to bring our company up to SOC 2 compliance- Migrated our reporting server, Sisense, to a new Windows Server 2022 VM

Verizon purchased my previous employer Bluegrass Cellular. I am currently still doing the same duties when with Bluegrass Cellular.

At Bluegrass Cellular, I am currently on a small operations team that handles all aspects of our infrastructure. Over my years of being on this team, I have worked my way through many different technologies including Azure, VMware, vCenter, Dell Storage, I have specialized in various things along the way however, my current focus is Azure Cloud Administration.During my time here, I have been over our entire Azure instance since 2017, Database Administration since 2017, SharePoint since 2016 (although much of this was passed onto another co-worker in 2017, but I remain the SME if help is needed). On top of these duties, I also helped maintain the on-prem environment and other sys admin duties. Azure Administration Duties – Sole Azure SME for company. Built Azure RM environment and slowly worked with other teams to migrate from Azure Classic as well as move other assets in Azure. Pushed for more automation, uptime, and PaaS to lessen time needed for Sys Admin duties from team.Database Administration Duties – Rebuilt all SQL servers to 2017 HA clusters to ensure uptime and implemented Red-Gate SQL monitor totaling about 30TB+ of data I was the sole person responsible for. Re-engineered backups to be more reliable and readily available in the event of a disaster. Assisted with building DR plan for DBs. Systems Administration Duties – Assist with VMware, Windows Server, VMs, automation, SFTP servers, and over 150 VMs. This included the full stack from storage to compute. Used PowerShell and other technologies to automate monitoring and other tasks. Implement new projects such as rebuild SFTP, yearly PCI audit and remediation, etc. Setup and help maintain VEEAM backups. Maintain all aspects of Office 365 – Exchange, Teams, Licensing, etc. SharePoint Administration Duties – SharePoint 2013 to Online and helped maintain, create, update, rebuilt, etc. all the different sites within the company.

• Maintain all workstations and their peripherals (hardware and software), printers, DVR camera systems, etc.• Create and remove accounts in Windows Active Directory and other systems• Created ink inventory system using PHP/jQuery/MySQL/IIS to count, alert, and consume ink cartridges and ensure we had a current supply• Drive to all 19 store locations across Kentucky to repair anything needed• Create, update, and deploy images using WDS PXE server and WinPE• Clean up viruses on computers by using various virus scanning software• Work with all IS departments to ensure the end-users issues are resolved in a timely and professional manner that has the least impact to end-user and customer• Wrote many PowerShell scripts to automate tasks such as application deployments, registry tweaks, and clearing a user’s cache.• Overseen the initial creation of the Windows 10 image/imaging process• Started as Tech I and worked my way up to Tech III

• Maintain military simulators at hardware and software level including networks, computers, wiring harnesses, operating systems, software, and all aspects of military simulation trainers. Preform preventative maintenance on software, hardware, hydraulics, generators, HVAC equipment per documentation and schedules• Read wiring diagrams and manufacturing manuals to understand how trainers operate and to troubleshoot problems
