Braingarden is a small startup-like R&D company specialised in computer vision, deep learning and artificial intelligence. My role and involvement in projects varies from overall supervision and guidance to technical leading and hands-on coding.Key achievements:- Contributed to the definition of company business strategy- Set up R&D department from scratch. Currently I’m leading a team of 14 ML researchers and software developers- Successfully completed R&D projects for our clients LG Electronics and Arrival- Main developer of Outfitmind mobile Android application (Java)- “Coverage Path Planning with Proximal Policy Optimization in a Grid-based Environment” scientific paper coauthor- Driving internal startup initiative: development of an indoor mobile robot OfficeSnail- Hands-on software development experience in CV, DL, RL, mobile- Contributed to open source DeepVO implementation, see github.I led the projects that involve R&D activities in the following areas: robotics (mobile robot, ROS, SLAM, sensors), computer vision based detection, segmentation and localization, deep learning and reinforcement learning (Pytorch, TF, Python, C++, MLFlow), synthetic dataset generation (Unreal, AirSim), mobile Android application (Java).

Led a local part of a large international fixed-net telecom project. Responsible for people management (approx. 60 employees) and delivery.Key achievements:- Fulfilled the 2016 ramp-up plans (+18 team members).- Completed the transition of system test activities from an external vendor (8 employees) to the local team.- Successful setup of a local team of 3 analysts, including training and transition plan development- Process improvements, Jira introduction, improved KPI tracking- Project know-how base development

As a lecturer, I used to lecture on “Basics of software development”, “Basics of Steganography” and led “Cryptography” practical lessons.

Responsible for leading a startup team as a manager and technical expert. My responsibilities include all the technical and managerial aspects of the high-load live video streaming service development as well as deployment and production maintenance.

Managed a set of T&M and FP custom software development projects including: development, maintenance and integration on top of EMC Documentum for a world-wide publishing house; Intercom software for trading turrets; web based system for genetic research; e-commerce on-line ticket sales system development and integration with GDS; corporate internal portal development and deployment; startup projects.Applied Waterfall and Agile approaches. Took part in presale activities. Helped establishing managerial processes in the department. Passed CMMI and ISO audits.

Led a team of software & test engineers responsible for development and deployment of document management systems on the top of EMC Documentum platform. My responsibilities included: managing the team; requirements elaboration with project managers; setting up software development processes; design and development of presentation layer, middleware components and data layer; contributing to PKI setup; digital signature solution adaptation to conform GOST 31.10-2001 requirements.

Participated in development of StarPound platform (http://starpoundtech.com/) based on a set of Java technologies and frameworks:JBoss, WebSphere, EJB3.0, MySQL, Eclipse, XML, Web Services, GWT, Hibernate, Hibernate4GWT, Andromda. Took part in development of a financial web application for a customer from Canada (HTML, SEAM, JSF, JBoss) and development of software for rail detector cars (C++, MFC, PHP).Duties ranged from coding and testing to leading a small team, architecture development, making technical documentation; estimating tasks.
