2016–2019:Full-stack PHP, JavaScript, and T-SQL development. Refactored major order processing code in cancellations and returns. Worked with legacy frontend built in Backbone and Mustache. Implemented new frontend code using React and Redux and rearchitected backend with MVC and event-driven framework. Onboarded newcomers and mentored interns. Tech lead role involved leading sprint ceremonies, code review, coaching, and working closely with product people to develop user stories.2019–2021:Moved to Storefront (customer-facing) organization and worked on Frontend Platforms team maintaining custom frontend bundler, frontend pattern library, and deploy architecture. As part of Auxiliary Engineering team, led frontend projects with teams who were new to JavaScript, teaching concepts and doing workshops. Then moved to the server-side platform team and helped choose Java as Wayfair’s preferred backend language, devised standards, embedded and did workshops on service-oriented architecture, API design, Docker, and Kubernetes.

Taught one-hour lab sessions, held office hours, and graded student work for computer science courses. Helped develop new introductory CS course using Python. Wrote automated assignment upload system (Apollo) and grading system (Socrates).

Worked with media- and content-heavy sites primarily for summer camps. Wrote custom WordPress plugins. Built apps using Ruby on Rails and Django.

Focused on video production/editing, web design and proofreading.
