I got to learn about the big, complex world of logistics & help build systems that move stuff across SEA/ led a cargo systems team that coordinated operations (flights, sales & booking, data) for 200+ planes & 100 tonnes of cargo, daily. / set up & project managed a 24-month cross-functional OKR to grow the market for international next-day deliveries within SEA. within 2 months, we 10x-ed parcel volumes/ restructured a 12-person support team (1k+ tickets weekly) into a cross-platform internal product support team, where we 2x-ed response & resolution times + lowered costs by 40%/ product build & launch of a no fuss booking platform for SME's and social sellers/ migrated ~200 helpdesk users across 15 teams across 5 countries in <90 days (saving us $50k usd)/ i taught agile 101, how-to-notion & google sheets monthly at Teleport University (our homegrown L&D programme) & consistently rank as most engaging instructor

GuruLab is an edtech startup that built technology to help teachers succeed in the modern classroom. We served over 2,500 students. I left to work on air cargo...?/ problem-solving with & for different teams (often operating between them)/ led improvements in onboarding, hiring, scrum, townhalls, team learnings (my “how to agile” deck got me hired for my next job)/ fundraising, research & pitchdeck initiatives (read: CEO soundboard, illegible sketch-to-slide converter & "i need some numbers here" person)/ filling in the gaps!! I also led the commercial team through the weeds of growth hacking & improving retention in a post-COVID market: building a customer-led referral engine, optimising for a more efficient digital marketing funnel, and exploring fun, low cost brand awareness initiatives

I joined PID on a 3-month stint at the peak of the pandemic but ended up staying for over a year because of the incredible people and safety to learn. In 2 years, landed ~$500k worth of projects & funding.I learnt that I enjoy working in mission-driven environments and building tools & systems to help others succeed. Some milestones:/ ceremonies, information management, and communications (i built a central task & project management workspace in Notion, and set up a team-wide wiki)/ design & writing for impact studies, including 2 nationwide surveys reaching ~2,000 responses. articles have been visited by >20,000 readers, presented at 2 international conferences, and made appearances in media outlets (World Bank Blog, LearnTechAsia, Malaysian Insight, Malay Mail, TheStar)/ built over 35 proposals and project decks & managed stakeholders through corporate, public & social/ project managed over 10 programmes. managed a student competition with over 800 participants nationally. Accenture was part of my venture out of my science degree into corporate. It was an introduction to a big world, and to skills that continue to help me thrive in my work today. / designed & wrote a POV paper on the future of cybersecurity for operators of critical national infrastructure, engaging in conversations with regional experts in Singapore & India/ facilitated a design-thinking workshop with Accenture Leadership to consolidate mid-point lessons learnt during an engagement/ developed presentations on cybersecurity and change management for a national O&G operator/ managed team-wide risks & issues tracker and “guys we’re behind schedule” repeater (PMO duties)
