Responsible for tax collection for over 350,000 parcels and the collection of over one and a half billion dollars. o Implemented a $400K foreclosure forgiveness program for families disproportionately impacted by the COVID-19 virus. This program used American Recovery Act Dollars and had to comply U.S. Department of the Treasury guidance. This program distributed one hundred forty thousand dollars to 33 families, preventing homelessness. o The office’s project manager helping to develop and implement a new 4 million dollar tax and property valuation software with 111 core office functions for the Treasurer’s office. Established decision points, evaluation criteria, and timelines to determine an implementation window that minimizes risk to the county. o Skilled at inter-jurisdictional collaboration. I work with 75 jurisdictions, including junior taxing districts, Indian Tribes, and cities within the county, to generate memoranda of understanding and interlocal agreements. o Manage contracts for the office and ensure they are renewed in a timely manner and adhere to legal requirements.o Present contracts and interlocal agreements to the county council for approval.
