Management of the waste strategy team and associated budgets, management of recycling contracts for the district.Key achievements -- Part of the team responsible for increasing recycling rates from 19% in 2003/04 to 40% in 2010/11.- Project Manager for a Norfolk wide ‘Love Food Hate Waste’ project, and successfully completed a bid for £87,000 of funding from government to deliver a county wide campaign to minimise household food waste.- Assisting delivery of initiatives to meet the Councils carbon reduction targets, which included planning, organising and running a Sustainable Communities Event and associated district wide competition awarding £30,000 of funding to local communities.
