A recent UX/UI Design Boot Camp certificate earner! This is my most recent accomplishment towards discovering what I am passionate about and how my skills can level up my career.With 7 years of coaching a nationally ranked swim team I fell in love with connecting with others, no matter their age. 7 to 65 I could get you to understand the goals on and off the deck. I strived to create a place where kids were comfortable trying something they've never done before, and recognizing their progress & success. This is also where I honed in the skill to get the parents on board too (let's be honest, they were the ones paying the monthly dues). Designing a season long plan, communicating the goals, and executing season after season developed trust between the "Stakeholders & Investors" and I.After this venture, I dove into something I never thought I'd do. Marketing. The goal here was to learn something that could scale my career. Something that any business needs. Something (at the time) scary. I quickly learned the ways of Google Ads, Meta Ads, and many more to take on 80 clients at an agency. Able to scale accounts, and stay on top of ever-changing platform updates/algorithms/privacy policies I have found success in this Paid Advertising role. But I wanted more. I want to see the impact of my work.So I'm taking on User Experience Design and Research. Why? To get back to a little of that human connection. To not just look at conversions and other KPIs on a line graph, but to look at the actual product the thing that matters to the customer/client and make it better.In my next move I am looking for: great inter- and intra- department communication and processes, a mentor to help elevate my skills and understanding, and ideally work for a company that improves the well-being of humans, whether that is physically, mentally, or emotionally.Bonus: big cat lover
