Influential is the largest influencer marketing company in the world. I am building out their data warehouse and data lake for use across both business intelligence and machine learning / AI. The goal is to implement new technologies for detecting interests and brand associations from social media content across their network of millions of content creators. They have ran social media marketing campaigns with major corporations such as Pepsi, NFL, and McDonald's.

I have worked on a data processing project for the Boy Scouts of America's Greater Los Angeles Area Council to process their volunteer records required by California bill AB 506: Every volunteer completing training in child abuse and neglect reporting as well as Live Scan background checks.This is being done by matching up and updating National BSA volunteer records from over 5,000 user-submitted mandated reporter online training certificates and background check consent forms as well as state-provided Live Scan records. - Leading the development and migration to a new core operational database for use with an in-house workflow management solution for all Currency employees to use day-to-day for managing all of the business's financing applications. Lead the team through all phases of the project lifecycle from planning, requirements gathering, design, development, testing, and go live.- Lead the automation and migration of all sales commissions reports and vendor referral fees & rebates reports to be generated off of the Data Warehouse directly instead of data exports imported into Excel. This reduced the turnaround time from what used to be 5 days down to less than 1 hour. Sales staff and vendors are now able to receive their commissions in the first week of the month instead of mid-month.- Migrating data workflows that pass data between Azure SQL databases from traditional ETL pipelines to Elastic Queries in Azure SQL.- Providing reports to executives (CFO, COO, Director of Sales). Managing all Power BI reports and updating those reports to include new metrics. Working with the data analytics department to migrate reports to Tableau.- Started on a migration of the existing SQL Server data warehouse to a Snowflake data cloud by replacing data loading tasks in Airflow with automated continuous data load using Microsoft Azure Event Grid and Snowflake’s Snowpipe.

I have served as the Interim Head of Technology in November and December 2017 working with the COO to bring on and onboard a new VP of Technology.While in this role I oversaw all aspects of software and IT for the company, everything from continuing the development and maintenance of software (point of sale, inventory management, cultivation tracking, mobile iOS apps) to the set up and maintenance of computer networks in all corporate, retail and industrial facilities.During this time all MedMen stores in the state of California were preparing to begin legalized sale of cannabis for non-medical use starting January 1, 2018. I maintained the company-wide point of sale software and IT networks during this high volume of sales brought on from national media attention. I helped guide the development of a new replacement point of sale software, the migration of supply chain management into a new ERP system, and the migration of cultivation tracking into a cloud collaboration service.I continued to work with the executive technology staff at this critical time while the company had an accelerated growth of 400% in less than two years, transitioning from a private startup with a few hundred employees into a public corporation with 1,500 employees and a valuation of $1.65 billion dollars.
