•Provide support to over 1,100 hospitals selected for Inpatient and Outpatient Data Validation. •Create/modify Data Validation Templates for hospital’s use in reporting Healthcare-Associated Infections (HAI) to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS). •Help hospitals in the reporting of HAI data and process over 2,500+ Data Validation Templates per Fiscal Year. •Perform quality checks on files after outputting data from external sources such as the CMS Warehouse and the National Healthcare Safety Network (NHSN). •Fulfill courtesy checks on Episodes of Care, Culture Dates, and NHSN Locations to ensure clean data. •Test QualityNet Secure Portal Confidence Interval and Data Validation reports. •Troubleshoot with the developers any difficulties that arise out of the HAI Tool. •Work directly with Mathematica Policy Research (MPR) to determine hospitals that will be targeted for Inpatient and Outpatient Data Validation. •Write Memos, List Serve communications, and mass notifications to be sent via QualityNet and/or email. •Research, answer and compile the multiple inquiries received from hospitals and contractors via phone, email, Right Now Tool questions, and Help Desk tickets.•Assist with drafting of Functional Business Requirements related to Data Validation. •Support the Clinical Data Abstraction Center (CDAC) with Medical Record Request notifications and submission.
