Managing a team of 15 Engineers towards the goal of winning the annual Satellite Design Competition organised by UKSEDS (UK Students for the Exploration and Development of Space)

I joined for a work placement in the summer before my final year at university and stayed on as a part time employee alongside my studies. Developing new embedded systems for bespoke solutions and diagnosing bugs/creating firmware updates for existing products based on client needs. My main responsibilities were as follows: - Writing libraries for MCUs to communicate via serial interfaces - 4-layer PCB design in Proteus 8 - CAD design in Fusion360 - Manufacturing (CNC machining, 3D printing, and electrical/electronic assembly)
