Role initially entailed eliciting and documenting business/functional requirements from a range of different user groups (Treasury Change/ Data Management) which pertained to liquidity regulatory reporting requirementsThese requirements would then be analysed to determine how the centralised database of Treasury data can accommodate the potential changes of functionality required by the different consumersTypical scenarios would involve on-boarding new data feeds via ETL specifications into the centralised database for consumption by different downstream business consumers or to enrich the database with new functionalityAdditional tasks included performing reconciliations against the balance sheet and assisting with testing cycles----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Due to a switch in team, my Business Functional Analyst role then changed to review the user interface requirements of the centralised database and pertained to the following:Role was then largely driven by the user interface requirements of Liquidity Data ManagementObjective was to provide a user-friendly and intuitive application which would provide data management users with functionality to view, filter and adjust Treasury data accordingly to remediate potential changes/issues that are required or discovered by the business consumerRole required creating UI designs and mock ups, eliciting/documenting functional requirements from data management users and identifying any changes to the UI application resulting from centralised database changes
