I serve in the Number Two leadership role in the newsroom at KTXL-TV. I am the keeper of the content, overseeing the news of the day, working with the assignment desk, producers and reporters to maximize high quality, journalistically ethical output. I am also responsible for short and long-term planning, special projects, hiring, employee schedules and other day-to-day operations of the newsroom.

• Created and produced an episodic podcast series exploring the lack of standardized mental healthcare for treating racial trauma. Wrote, edited, and produced 4 episodes distributed across YouTube and major streaming platforms.• Conducted interviews with healthcare providers, therapists, patients, and best-selling author on treatment of racial trauma.• Produced marketing and promotional content / teasers to drive visibility and clarity around the show’s focal area.
