I'm a word-chameleon who has enjoyed and had great success writing in a variety of different voices for clients in travel, legal, banking, retail, business-to-business and business-to-consumer fields. Each new industry I explore adds another tone and style to my evolving arsenal of writing capabilities. Previous projects have required me to come up with unique story ideas and topics to morph into engaging social media content, consumer blogs, and client newsletters. As part of my previous roles as a media relations specialist I've promoted client stories through interviews, whether that meant scheduling and coordinating with journalists and reporters, drafting talking points to deliver on key messages or producing the interview myself through video/photography production.This is all well and good but it wouldn't be nearly as effective without the empathy, authenticity and passion for storytelling fueled by a raw love for the writing craft. While I've been more engaged in the media relations side of story building, I am driven to go deeper into content creation to feed the need to write. I think quick, get my fingers moving and am always excited to create something new – be it from a content writing position or as an author of a few humble short stories with the goal of reaching the rank of novelist.
