My arts practice is multi-faceted: firstly, a practice that produces photographic, video and object-based works that question the values of language and diaspora and secondly, the publishing of physical print works of new voices in non-fiction writing, poetry and visual arts. I’ve participated in residencies and cultural intensives in Bulgaria and Australia (Swimming Pool Curatorial School, World of Co Residency, Abyss Lessons), and have exhibited my works in Europe (Aether Sofia, Aether the Hague, Jarvis Dooney Galerie Berlin, Message Salon Zurich), the United States (Artists Television Access in San Francisco, The Wrong Digital Art Biennale) and Australia (Seventh Gallery, Tinning St Presents, Centre for Contemporary Photography).MoodWar’s key title as a publishing imprint is 'Tempered’, a collaboration editor Max Easton and designer Daryl Prondoso. ‘Tempered’ is an Australian music journal that explores the backwaters of punk, hardcore and electronics. ✨The Drive: Thriving on absolute self sufficiency in my arts practice.

Delivery of design and campaign communication campaigns across alumni and donors audiences in support of UoM Advancement's ‘Believe’ which raised over $1 billion and engaged over 100,000 alumni by end 2021.✨ Focus on Delivery: Undertook work that supported all Advancement teams by creating donor materials, branding for mentoring and crowdfunding initiatives, and management of the ‘Believe’ campaign design library as the brand guardian. Instituted the use of our project workflow management within our team.

Working in-house and remotely on a contract-basis for a number of education providers (Open Universities, University of Melbourne, Education Services Australia) and the touring/entertianment providers (Warner Music Australia, Warner Music UK, Handsome Tours, Ableton LiveSchool).✨ The Experience: Tapped into my multi-disciplinary design practice to deliver a wide range of customer needs, from bespoke campaign materials (Warner Music ‘In Their Shoes’) to interactive learning design materials for Open Universities Australia.

Great times as a team member of this extremely high-performing design studio. Initially engaged as a designer and illustrator, I transitioned to a seasoned UX and Service Designer as the studio evolved its services to have a strong digital, service and co-design focus. ✨ The Treasure: The most memorable projects we did at Small Studio involved the creation of CSIRO’s ‘Adapt NRM’ project database, infographics for WWF’s Antarctica Program, and the UX/interface design for launch of StoryBox Library. This was my first role in Melbourne, so taught me how to pave the way for being in a completely new city.

The primary focus at Tonic the Agency was design, art direction and campaign management for the technology sector, with CareerOne, Lenovo, Garmin and ResMed being major clients. In addition to creative work, I shadowed Creative Director Kerry Wood as her 2IC – which raised my level of responsibility to managing our freelancers, review and feedback on the design teams’ efforts and handling client liaison and customer conversations. ✨ The Lesson: Being mentored by Kerry Wood radically upgraded my approach to client and studio management practices. Her advice, backing and most of all – encouragement – changed the way I have gone on to work.

Work awarded by SEGD (2010), IDEA Awards (2010) and Desktop Magazine Awards (2008-10).✨ The Flavour: These two major projects were crucial in teaching me how businesses could move to expand their operations at scale.
