I've had the privilege of growing alongside small and family businesses, dedicating much of my career to understanding the unique dynamics these entities offer. My journey began with the co-founding of Tortec Ltd., where I learned the ropes of introducing new technologies in metal powder production, right from the foundational stage to market introduction.Stepping into a more administrative role later on, I looked after operations for our subsidiaries in Germany and Switzerland. This shift broadened my perspective, having me engage directly with customer communications and product development initiatives. It's been a learning curve - working everywhere from the factory floor up to general management roles and getting involved in the nuts and bolts of daily operations.Part of my hands-on journey was assisting in setting up our companies in Germany and Switzerland, where I learned the delicate art of attracting investments. It was about understanding and believing in our work in metal powder production and soil substrate development, and communicating that effectively.I had the opportunnity to work across different countries - Germany, Switzerland, the USA, and Cyprus. Each location challenged me to adapt and respond to new and diverse business cultures and market demands, shaping me into someone who eagerly embraces change and continuous learning.
