I joined Capitol Impact in 2013 and have been serving as the firm's managing partner since 2020. With over two decades of experience in teaching, educational leadership, and economic and workforce development strategies, I bring a broad range of expertise to my role. Prior to my time at Capitol Impact, I held academic management positions for public and private universities and served as an adjunct professor at Sacramento State, where I taught scholarly writing and research methodologies.At Capitol Impact, I lead strategy for business clients and their social impact initiatives, focusing on the design and implementation of regional collaboratives, workforce solutions, and postsecondary partnerships. I have led and promoted programs for career pathways, Linked Learning, mental health, and apprenticeships.I'm proud to serve as the Chair for the Los Rios Colleges Foundation board of directors and previously held the position of Chair of the Sacramento Metro Chamber of Commerce board of directors in 2019.I hold a bachelor's degree from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, a master's degree from Sacramento State University, and a doctorate of education from Drexel University. I was honored to receive the Leadership and Service Award from the School of Education at Drexel University and be named to the Sacramento Business Journal's 40 Under 40 list.
