Engineering project management role on the Capital Projects team within the Technology and Improvement department at the Tronox Pigment Plant in Hamilton Mississippi. Responsible for organizing, documenting, and coordinating the completion of various on-site projects as well as providing support for engineers in the department. Some of these projects include: • Sump Pipe Replacement- ~350ft section of stainless-steel pipe in the plant needed replacement with more compatible material for HCl. o Worked with Southern Synergy Inc. to conduct 3D scans and acquire engineering drawings of pipeline. Afterwards conducted walkdowns with contractors and worked with procurement team to obtain quotes for project.• Plant Alarm Upgrades- Upgrading alarm systems and speakers throughout the plant. Specifically, the lab. o Worked with Precision Communications to conduct sound test in lab and determine location for ten new alarm speaker locations, then coordinated with contractors to install conduit and run wire to these ten locations.• Generator Replacement- Replaced a 230kw generator with a 15kw unit.o Worked with supplier to obtain drawings and scheduled delivery and placement of unit with contractors.• Other Projects in which I played a management role include the procurement of lab equipment, vehicles, plant machinery and electrical equipment.
