Senior Software Qa Engineer
Current• Test in the production and QA environments, Conducting detailed analysis of business and technical requirements.• Create and execute functional automation scripts using Cypress, JavaScript, VS Code, Gitlab CI and GitLab.• Write and execute SQL queries to retrieve data from database using DBeaver/PostgreSQL• Participate in Weekly QA meetings to discuss the bug fixes and latest builds.• Participate in Weekly Automation meetings to discuss automation improvements and maintenance• Perform GUI, smoke, functional, usability, regression, browser compatibility testing, user acceptance testing.• Write, update and modify test documentation such as test plans, test cases, test suites to match constantly updated software requirement.• Conduct crossbrowser testing on MacOS in Chrome, Firefox, and Safari• Document testing and automation processes to ensure the use of the best practices and techniques on all of our processes.• Create and distribute test status reports, including progress,defects, risk, and potential impacts.• Analyze software defects and reporting them via Jira defect tracking tool.• Conduct testing RESTful APIs using Insomnia and Postman• Conduct code review to the automated test cases developed by the team to ensure that it follows the stablished Automation Standards.• Work closely with developers to reproduce issues for further analysis as well as to resolve reported issues
