• Undertake gap analysis in response to FSA thematic reviews• Maintenance of department policies and procedures. Involved in the writing the current PEP, Sanctions and Fraud policies• Assist in the development and delivery of Training both within the team and to the business as a whole• Desk Reviews to ensure the business is adhering to Financial Crime policy and reducing the companies risk• Production of MI• Transaction and Client monitoring• KYC Renewals.

• AML investigations. Investigation of customer accounts following a disclosure to SOCA due to money laundering concerns• PEP, Financial Sanctions and Terrorist financing monitoring. Investigation of possible links between RBS customers and terrorist financing and sanctions breaches. Ensuring the business adheres to PEP policies• Assurance Testing• Production of MI • Department training including the supervision of three contract workers• Payment filtering.

• New accounts Team, Commercial customers;• Subjecting new KYC cases to identification & verification checks fully in accordance with KYC on-boarding procedures;• Creating and updating customer records on the KYC database using information supplied by Relationship Managers and Companies House;• Liaising with Relationship managers when more information is required, for example Identification and confirmation of customer address.
