In my seven seasons with AYS, I have successfully spearheaded countless initiatives to advance the scope and sustainability of AYS programs, while fostering a community of actively engaged donors audience members. Accomplishments include:Founding and project-managing "Share-A-Stand," the AYS in-school music education program, currently engaging over 300 students a year at three school sites, with a fully-funded annual budget of $90,000. Founding and overseeing "The Vanguard" a young professionals council producing innovative orchestral music events, pairing AYS musicians with multi-platinum pop artists.Targeting communications and engagement initiatives to grow the AYS audience and promote cultural equity and inclusiveness. Audience size has doubled during my tenure, with 98% of tickets reserved 4 years running. Current demographics are among the most representative in the field, with over 40% of audiences under age 40, and over 60% of audiences identifying as people of color.Leading major technological innovations, significantly advancing the ticketing, fundraising, communications, orchestra management, and administrative capacity of AYS. Elevating the public image of AYS, collaborating with a videography team to produce professional recordings of 4 AYS concerts per year, with YouTube Views now in the hundreds of thousands. Developed AYS brand image, including the creation of the AYS website, logo, and all digital and print media.Secured institutional funding from government, corporate, and private sources -- for both project specific and general operating purposes -- writing original grant narratives, tracking deliverables, and producing thorough reports.
