Hold others accountable for their roles and responsibilities in the FRG.Keep and maintain copies of the Bylaws for a period of one year to be passed along to each successor. Make the FRG aware when it is time to review the bylaws and make changes as needed. In the absence of the President at a general meeting, assume the duties of President. Succeed to the office of President in the event that the President resigns. In the event that the President is unwilling or unable to do so, the Vice-President will handle all correspondence, social media, email and all other forms of communication. Maintain and distribute welcome information for the FRG to the families, Sunshine Committee, or to the command to be included in their welcome packets for the families. Organize and delegate when activities are voted on. State that the voting is complete and we are going forward with the activity or the activity has been voted against and will now be removed from further discussion. Clearly state who is going to be taking on the responsibility to lead the activity and what the expected timeline is going to be and when the activity is going to take place. Follow up on the progress of the activity between meetings and address it at meetings.Affirm with the Sunshine Committee that gifts/cards have been sent to families in need. Appoint committee chairs and maintain a list of committees. Recognize committee volunteers and address committees for current business during FRG events.
