The Cambium Assessment System, technology and service solution for student assessment administration, data management, analysis and reporting, was considered one of the most strategically critical initiative for Cambium Learning. Worked with over 100 educators nationwide to pinpoint market needs.Collaborated with a team of consultants to develop complex UI system specifications in approx. four months. Oversaw the development of curriculum-specific product specifications for three products, including use case, statistical calculations and methodologies, wireframes, and implementation supports. Successfully negotiated a customer-critical intellectual property acquisition.Established and managed two program pilots / beta testing sites.Successfully launched two curriculum-dependent systems.Developed product marketing plans, short- and long-term development plans, pricing models, implementation / rollout models, oversaw QA efforts, and otherwise fostered communication between engineering, QA, research and evaluation, direct sales, marketing, implementation management, and senior executives.

Worked directly under the CEO acting as an internal business consultant charged with identifying problems and developing and implementing solutions across all business units and companies under the Cambium Learning umbrella. Resolved a 2.4MM time-sensitive backorder challenge through the development and rollout of a new MRP system, reorganization of the purchasing department, and the deployment of 24/7 distribution and warehouse operations in conjunction with employee performance-based incentive programs. Forecast a major upswing in product demand; without this information, the company would have lost, at minimum, 5 MM in sales, customer retention, or both. Developed all departmental budgets, product development plan budget and conducted ongoing financial analysis. Assisted in the integration of acquired companies. Responsible for sales forecasting using top-down and bottom-up modeling and sales territory and quota development.Contributed to the roll-out of a company-wide balanced scorecard initiative. Provided guidance to all business units on issues such as royalty negotiations, contracts, sales and expense forecasting, marketing plan development, product development plans, and understanding operating and financial metrics.
