I oversee the scheduling, contracts and all facets of Sales Incentive Trips and Corporate Conferences for companies like Google, Spotify, Aetna, Fiserv and DuPont. Usually business sessions, outdoor activities, evening events and offsite gatherings as well as team building challenges are part of the experiences offered. We partner with the Four Seasons, the Ojai Valley Inn & Spa and the Ritz Carlton Bacara resorts.

Developed & implemented comprehensive marketing and advertising strategies as well as long-term planning for the purpose of attracting new members and building up the Sunday Polo crowds during the May - October polo season. Networked with hotels, corporations, non profits, restaurants, visitors centers, conference bureaus and the public to promote the club. Facilitated all prospecting endeavors, touring, event booking and day-of management along with follow up, growing the number of events from 52 to 150+ per year. Oversaw all food & beverage operations including ordering and hiring/training 55 staff members as appropriate. Processed payroll as well as handled all client contracts, billing and the POS system with 26 points of sale. Oversaw the website and calendar, social media strategy, hashtags and disseminated that info to the 1,000+ guests we hosted each Sunday to turn them into affinity marketers for us. Acted as serve safe main contact for the oversight of the commercial kitchen. Acted as main liaison and point of communication during Sunday Polo.

I oversaw all facets of the company's communications with clients, prospects and the vendors. I provided prospects with budget spreadsheets, oversaw estate location tours, then executed contracts for all location, coordination and catering services. Our specialty was estate weddings in Santa Barbara, but we also handled milestone birthdays, special celebrations and holiday dinner parties. I left this job as the SB Polo Club job entailed 60 hour work weeks.

I represented EventRents in the Santa Barbara marketplace promoting their rental services and overseeing all aspects of prospect and client relationship management for the higher value clients and events. I listened to clients' visions, then advised them as to their specific needs and possible layouts. I then worked it out logistically by creating an Auto CAD diagram and finished with a visit to our showroom to mock up different looks. On event day, I oversaw the team in facilitating the successful load in of all the rental equipment including tents, lighting, tables, linens, stemware, flatware and all other infrastructure. I then followed up afterward to make sure that we kept the client long-term. The owner of this company closed it and went into another industry.

PlanMember is headquartered in Carpinteria, but focuses on increasing the national presence including growing the number of physical financial centers all over the country. I helped build our nationwide footprint of physical Financial Centers from 0 to 14 as well as brought on around 60 successful, independent financial advisors focused on retirement planning per year. I oversaw our advertising efforts as well. The biggest change I implemented was moving away from a direct mail approach and instead using LinkedIn as the main vehicle for first contacts proving to be a much more effective way to reach more people in a more personal manner. Once a representative joined our firm, I helped with the transition and creating a specific marketing plan.

I was hired as a contract employee to put on 2 large 500+ business conferences, one at the Las Vegas Convention Center and one at the Beverly Hilton. 3 Event Coordinators reported directly to me and I also procured sponsors for the event including Land Rover. I advertised for the conferences, came up with the macroplan and budget, oversaw all vendor contracts, tracked RSVPs, organized travel for the presenters and key guests and then tracked the overall success of the events afterwards.

Established and managed quarterly educational seminars to establish us as Trusted Advisor to our high net worth existing clients and for them to bring fellow business owners so as to also be a prospecting venture.
