As a Billing Coordinator, I was responsible for coordinating billing-related activities for multiple practices (ranging from 4-28) with our billing vendor, Change HealthCare (CHC). My role involved reviewing daily charge files for these sites, ensuring accuracy and completeness by liaising with practices and CHC.I was in charge of communicating crucial changes related to physicians, clients, managed care agreements, locum tenens schedules, client bill arrangements, and test offerings. Keeping the PAR status up-to-date for our 30 pathologists across 39 different insurance plans, including AZ and NV Medicare and Medicaid, was part of my daily tasks.I responded to and escalated inquiries and requests from CHC for multiple practices in a timely and accurate manner.
