Over five years, the Cancer No Bueno events have seen Perth’s hottest millenials gather for one of the most highly anticipated nights on the social calendar, with familiar faces like Woody Whitelaw, Heidi Anderson, Samara Tugwell, Rachel Gouvignon, Tash Butler, Kyle and Cam Cranley, and Tory and Sophia Barbagallo living up to the event’s tagline, #partycauseyoucare.After exponential growth since inception in 2014, the Cancer No Bueno charity ball brings together Perth’s Generation Y guests in style to raise much needed funds and awareness for the Leukaemia Foundation.Cancer No Bueno donated over $250,000 to the organisation, which is Australia’s peak body for blood related cancers. Their work goes beyond funding research and treatment, providing support for patients and families dealing with the diagnosis of blood cancers.Founder Brittany Lovell was also recognised in March 2018 as Fundraising Institute of Australia’s national winner of the Volunteer of the Year award, nominated by Leukaemia Foundation for her vision and leadership of Cancer No Bueno.
