This is a freelance opportunity that I work on during my free time. As the Art Director of the Oshkosh Independent Magazine I complete the entirety of the magazine's design from start to finish: implementing full layout of 32-64 page magazine, creating professional and creative page layouts, designing the calendar of events, editing and incorporating.

• As a member of Shopko’s advertising team, I was responsible for the design, layout, and production of circulars, direct mail, and other print advertising collateral. I worked closely with copywriters, production.
• Functional/Technical Skills – I have the functional and technical knowledge and skills to do my job at a high level of accomplishment.
• Creativity – I come up with new and unique ideas; easily making connections among previously unrelated notions; seen as original and good in brainstorming settings; I execute designs and/or pages that are accurate.
• Design Development – I stay current in design, retail and fashion trends; keeping swipe files for reference; using fresh and appropriate imagery in initial layouts that inspire photo art direction.

• Priority Setting – I spend my time and the time of others on what’s important; quickly zeroing in on the critical few and putting the trivial many aside; can quickly sense what will help or hinder accomplishing a goal.

While working at SECURA I collaborated with members of my team to develop materials for sales, events, and advertising to use in several channels such as print, web, and social media. It was my responsibility to assist with design planning and execution, production, and post production of marketing projects, internal design needs, and other collateral.
