Aliya is the Owner/Founder of ACB Consulting & Family Services LLC, a consulting firm that provides capacity building services and employee training to organizations seeking to increase brand identity, digital communications and/or operations.In a previous role, Aliya served as the Senior Communications & Content Manager at Teens for Food Justice, where she developed a comprehensive communications strategy to amplify the organization's presence online and in traditional media. Prior to that, Aliya worked to shift the narrative on violence in NYC, NYS and beyond through traditional and social media, community engagement, policy and thought leadership at Common Justice. Prior to joining Common Justice, Aliya provided analytic support on housing policy and drove communications strategy for statewide campaigns at Enterprise Community Partners New York, including the launch of a Justice-Involved Housing Initiative, a leading role in the Statewide Source of Income Coalition, and co-leadership of the Regional Affordable & Fair Housing Roundtable. Prior to Enterprise, Aliya interned at the Brooklyn District Attorney’s Office’s Bureau of Youth Diversion and Reentry Programs supporting alternative to incarceration and reentry programs for people impacted by the justice system. Aliya earned her BA in Sociology with honors from CUNY Baruch College.
