About Aliyah Granger
Aliyah Granger is a Manager, Facilitation and Training at Institute for Nonprofit Practice. Colleagues describe her as "It is my great pleasure to recommend Aliyah Granger. Aliyah and I met 2 years ago, when we both joined the Institute for Nonprofit Practice (INP) as Program Coordinators at around the same time, and I have been privileged to work alongside her as colleagues since then. Aliyah is an outstanding professional, whose impeccable work ethic and dedication to curating a positive experience for INP's program participants can't be overstated. Aliyah approaches the work of program management with grace, expertise, professionalism, and empathy. I have admired her for the ways that she supports the teaching faculty, students, and her fellow colleagues. Aliyah is highly organized and looks ahead to anticipate the needs of those around her. As a specific example, Aliyah's work in supporting the early-career Community Fellows Program (CFP) has been nothing short of extraordinary. In the last year alone, she supported 5 faculty members and a total of nearly 60 students over the course of the program year, including the planning and implementation of 2 overnight retreats, 4 in-person day-long workshops, and several graduation events! Aliyah ensures that all program participants feel seen, appreciated, and a sense of belonging. While lending my support at the CFP overnight retreats, I have witnessed her leadership as an event director: she could be found building relationships with participants and faculty, handling logistical challenges with flexibility and a problem-solving orientation, and proactively implementing administrative processes to ensure successful events. All event details had been meticulously and thoughtfully planned in advance, resulting in smooth retreats. In addition to her many professional skills and merits, Aliyah is also, quite simply, a wonderful colleague to work with. Her positive outlook and kind communication makes working alongside her a joy and a privilege. She is an incredibly supportive coworker, and generous about sharing her organizational knowledge with others. I am so glad that our professional lives crossed paths, and I am absolutely certain that Aliyah will be successful in any role she takes on. Should anyone be so lucky as to have the opportunity to work with her, they should do so in a heartbeat. I look forward to seeing Aliyah's professional life develop, and am excited to cheer on her continued and future successes!"
