Over 31 years experience of working in the ever changing child care sector, a very demanding and challenging environment. I have proven ability to lead and motivate social work teams, to strive to achieve excellent outcomes for children, young people and their families. I have a track record of implementing change through coaching, supporting, involving and engaging others, combined with effective planning and service delivery. I am proactive, passionate about improving standards. I am comfortable with being personally accountable for mine and my teams practice and performance, and I actively promote a culture of working to high expectations and standards in my work environment. I have a good grasp of budgets and cost controls and how these are affected by team performance. I am not complacent, I know what I have achieved and want to achieve more.
