Focus on creating a Six Sigma environment within the warehouse and a continuous improvement process for raw materials. Work with suppliers on negotiating new costs for raw material on a quarterly to yearly basis. Maintain positive relationships with suppliers. Manage warehouse employees and employee schedule to ensure the items ordered for the day are delivered by the deadline. Responsible for keeping track of project managers and hourly employee’s hours worked per week. Supervise employees on restricted work limitations due to injury and review safety regulations with employees working in the warehouse. Responsible to manage purchase orders and inventory. Keep accurate count of current inventory available and approve orders for new inventory to be purchased by project managers. Update pricing on raw materials to ensure estimations are accurate. Audit inventory lists quarterly. Manage warehouse tools that are loaned out to employees to ensure they are returned and in working order. Responsible for working with customers and warranty items and schedule warranty crew to complete the request by the deadline. Responsible for managing the company fleet (trucks/trailers) by making sure registrations are done on time, oil changes and tire rotations are done every 5K miles and any other vehicle issues that arise.

Responsible to manage Quality Control Technicians and Shipping and Receiving Drivers. Sign off on incoming and outgoing products. Plan and assign shifts for quality technicians to cover all working hours including overtime. Complete disciplinary process for employees when needed. Communicate all quality issues to production supervisor and plant manager with suggestions of improvement. Maintain safety requirements and enforce safety rules with all employees.
