I am eager to learn, encourage and advocate. In my roles at FINN Partners Nashville and King Publicity, I have honed in on my skills in media research, public relations, and overall communication. My responsibilities include gathering research on client’s target media outlets, pitching multiple clients to local and national media, and improving communication skills through hands-on agency experience. These roles have equipped me with a deep understanding of the media landscape and the ability to create compelling narratives to enhance brand and client visibility. Additionally, through pitching clients, researching, and networking, I have made important connections with journalists, digital outlets, and the Nashville media scene - all of which will be imperative in my career.As a News Assistant at WKRN Channel 2 News, I gained practical experience in script writing using AP ENPS, while also managing content for the lifestyle show and greeting guests. I worked on behalf of local broadcast news and lifestyle shows. I reviewed and responded to pitches from publicists for the lifestyle show; therefore, I attributed to the vision of “Local on 2.” We also had plenty of special guests on the show.Additionally, I have had experience working in the entertainment industry through my internship at Triple 7 PR. Some tasks included making content catalogs for TikTok, Instagram, and Youtube for our client, Warner Bros. One of our client was the 2022 Video Music Awards. This gave me hands on experience with pulling headlines and joining in on artist calls. During my time working on the communications team at the Country Music Association, I was able to monitor media coverage via MuckRack. I used my storytelling skills by writing press releases and Hall of Fame inductee biographies. Additionally, I worked on my second award show, the CMA Awards red carpet and escorting talent allowed me to showcase my adaptability and ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.
