Develops and implements high-quality interpretive programs to school groups, community groups, and the visiting general public. Interpretive programs include virtual and in-person school programs, walks, hikes, and tours, Junior Ranger programs, live stream interpretive talks, and programs for special events. Recruits, manages, and coordinates volunteers. Conducts training and program evaluation of volunteers covering both interpretive techniques and accurate information. -Supported the JMT Manager of Grants & Field Programs and other team members in providing backcountry field supervision of our JMT Intern Cohorts.-Assured interns were properly packed, provisioned and outfitted for their field assignments and 9-day backpacking tour.-Collaborated with JMT Manager of Grants & Field Programs, Sequoia National Forest, and the Sequoia and Kings National Park natural resource specialists to determine weekly data collection goals and projects.-Mediated interpersonal conflicts between the intern team.
