Allie has spent her career studying intimate relationships between people and things, conducting research in markets across the globe. Her work has allowed her to immerse into some of the most fascinating topics with consumers cross-cultures, like ambiguity, novelty, and the influence of trend on how we connect with everyday goods and services.With a master’s degree in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, and a decade+ of human centric-insight and product design experience, today she focuses on helping brands evoke new meaning within product experiences through the practice of design. Her unconventional approach to translating brand ambition into market action has given her the opportunity to collaborate with some of the most exciting brands around like IKEA, evian, Nike, Johnson & Johnson, and Google to name a few.Recently, Allie studied the value of curiosity and the role it plays in generating lasting connections between consumers and things. She uncovered a series of tangible product design pillars that pique continued curiosity and produce more vivid interpretations of the objects we engage with on a daily basis. Her work was incorporated into the Farnsworth Art Museum’s permanent collection in Rockland, Maine.
