Senior Product DesignerProvidence Sep 2020 - Jun 2022UsProvidence Genomics is a division of Providence, one of the nation’s largest nonprofit providers of healthcare, focused on implementing genomics technologies to create opportunities for personalized medicine and improved patient care.→ Designed the end-to-end user experience for multiple patient recruitment websites, including an electronic consent platform and dashboard interface for clinical study enrollment and education which improved access to clinical studies, and increased outreach efforts by 6.5X on initial launch.→ Brought in >1M dollars to ISB, and to date the platform has been used by nearly 5000 patients and dozens of clinicians. The platform and its design was so successful, it was leveraged by Providence to create a spin out company with this technology at its core.→ Analyzed user behavior to inform the redesign of a landing page for the pilot genomics and medicine study “Geno4ME” which resulted in a 3X increase of patient enrollment into the study.→ Collaborated with a team of clinicians and genomics professionals to transform educational documents on genomics and cancer into a series of animated videos that are used in clinics across the U.S., and translated into multiple languages.→ Established an animation style guide for Providence based on their brand guide that created a theme for educational animations that have been used in several subsequent programs and studies.→ Created templates for pharmacogenomic summary documents used by clinicians across the Providence network that facilitate scannable exposure to complex genetics topics, saving time and mental overhead. -
