CurrentI am a commercial litigator who practices in the areas of construction, complex commercial, fraud, contract, real estate, and professional negligence. Having also been involved in high-stakes project finance and debt restructuring transactions, I have insight into the deal-making process and associated strategies. I spent the first five years of my career litigating high-profile cases in New York City. Since returning home to Toronto, I joined the team of Speigel Nichols Fox LLP and have helped the firm develop an innovative approach to the business of law. I spearheaded the firm's efforts to offer our clients value-based flat fees on all litigation matters. Our firm was one of the first in Canada to do so.I am deeply concerned about the state of our civil justice system and speak and write about the subject frequently.
