I am a recent graduate of West Albany High School. I graduated at 16 years old and immediately started my first term at LBCC as a business/marketing major. I take photojournalism and Spanish classes, as well as management and marketing courses. I have worked at the Albany Izzy’s for about a year as a host/dishwasher. Due to COVID-19, I haven’t had the experience of attending class and working at the same time, but I expect to be working by next term, so hopefully my time management skills will prove useful. After taking business courses at LBCC, I plan to attend either Paul Mitchell or Phagan’s Beauty College. My goal is to work in a salon until I have enough profit and experience to open my own salon. I aspire to someday create a workspace with the atmosphere where everyone feels welcome. I’ve taken spanish courses for four years, and I am still enrolled in a spanish class because I think it’s important to be able to connect with multiple different kinds of people. I want to be able to help so many people, and I want all my customers to feel comfortable and safe. When I am not in class or working, I like to spend my time decorating and organizing. I have redecorated my bedroom so many times, especially since quarantined. I like everything to be neat and clean. I also enjoy hiking with my friends, cooking, and reading.
