Programs Director
Led the regional programs team by managing Programs Managers in support of a portfolio of CollegeSpring program sites. Along with the regional Executive Director and other regional staff members, I ensured high levels of program quality and fidelity, steward and retain current partners, and supported the Executive Director in developing new partnerships. I represented CollegeSpring to external stakeholders, including principals, teachers, mentors, and students. I was responsible for the operational success of the Greater New York City area, ensuring the region achieves its goals related to student service and impact. Developed and maintained all related documents and presentations to program including but not limited to on-boarding, data, analytics, training materials and curriculum updates. I worked with all staff to provide logistical support to larger events that disseminate the content to programs teams. Responsible for support curriculum director to develop and refine frameworks, implementation one-pagers, planning/presenting templates and materials that resulted in cohesive regional work. Led the professional development of mentor groups and refined practices for mentor component of the program model.

Supported a portfolio of 7 program sites and served be the primary CollegeSpring liaison to administrators, teachers, mentors, and students within the portfolio. I supported the development of comprehensive ReadNYC school plans for school year 2017-18 across the six public elementary schools that are part of the ReadNYC Mott Haven neighborhood network. I played a lead role in curriculum and plan development as well as program implementation design. Throughout my time I joined planning meetings with school leaders and members of ReadNYC’s UWNYC Initiative management team to co-create a variety of tools, templates and other materials to capture the collective impact strategy of ReadNYC and support the strengthening of the ReadNYC overarching plan. This work involved significant research, planning and writing and is an opportunity to help shape a groundbreaking approach to supporting culturally relevant, equity-centered literacy improvement, and two-generation success through engagement of students and parents simultaneously in mutually-reinforcing and aligned actions and curriculum development.
