* Directly supervised school-based teams of young adults who mentored students in 1:1, small group, and whole-classroom settings, and supported teacher, full-time at a public elementary school * Set a clear vision with team goals & expectations, built a culture of inclusivity & excellence, enforced policies, coached team members’ professional development, delivered feedback, managed performance evaluations, facilitated regular team meetings and individual check-in's* Worked with school to support numerous projects and events each year, including: coat drives, after-school seasonal events for family engagement, outdoor recess painting projects, attendance initiatives, diversity & appreciation initiatives, spirit weeks, SEL videos, & morning programs; school climate & culture improved from 69% in 2019 to 83% in 2023 in RIDE teacher surveys; family engagement improved from 26% in 2019 to 40% in 2023 in RIDE family surveys* Tracked student data to report to for AmeriCorps grant and school district contract purposes, elaborating on the teams’ tier-2 support for at least 3,000 student interventions per year on ELA/Math/SEL/Attendance for about 3-6 classrooms per year; ARC assessments reported >1 year of growth on average for school by March, highest in the Providence public school district, and City Year partner classrooms were higher than the school average* Collaborated with school partners on initiatives: for students’ mental health & social-emotional learning, and for school staff’s professional development; student belonging improved 54% in 2019 to 67% in 2023 in student surveys* Led site-wide projects, including: redesign and coordination of site's 3-week Team Leader training program; owned the recruitment/interview/selections process for senior corps; co-led Impact Operations workgroup to streamline, update, & reorganize systems online* Collaborated in various workgroups with HQ, including the National Equity Advisory Council
