As an aspiring software tester, I have undergone a 12-week SmartTester Digital Mentoring program at STAG Software Pvt. Ltd. in Bangalore. The program focused on mentoring, rather than just teaching, which allowed me to gain hands-on experience and not just theoretical knowledge. Through this program, I have developed a strong understanding of software applications and the ability to validate them.With proficiency in Test Case Design and Execution, I possess the ability to perform functional and non-functional tests, including load, stress, and scalability testing. I also have extensive knowledge of test design techniques and test levels, and I am proficient in preparing bug reports and test summary reports. I am well-versed in regression, smoke, and sanity tests, which are essential to ensure that software products are of high quality and are error-free.I have gained practical experience in software testing through the projects I have worked on. For instance, I was involved in developing a web application, Student Management System, from June to October 2022. The project involved using MongoDB as the backend database and creating APIs to connect the frontend and backend. I conducted backend testing with Postman, UI testing with Cypress, and performance testing with JMeter. This experience provided me with the opportunity to develop my skills further and understand the importance of testing in the software development process.I am currently working on Telstra Health's Med-Point project team, where I have gained hands-on experience in test design and test execution. I have assisted the team in finding bugs and learned from experienced professionals in the field. The experience has also allowed me to hone my skills in conducting regression testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing.I have also worked on the iBridge (Metolius) project from December 2022 to February 2023, where I applied IST (Immersive Session Testing) for test design and execution. The project involved testing in short intervals of 90 minutes, which allowed me to sharpen my skills in quick thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making.Overall, I am a highly motivated and skilled software tester with a passion for software testing and quality assurance. With my technical skills, practical experience, and strong work ethic, I am confident that I can make a valuable contribution to any software development team.
