About Altaf Khan
“Choose a job you love, and you will never have to work a day in your life.” I recently graduated with my PhD in Mechanical Engineering focusing on acoustics and vibrations. I enjoy designing and testing experimental setups. Additionally, I had the pleasure of teaching engineering classes to undergraduates and high school students. At the same time, I worked in UIC Campus Housing focusing on providing academic support for first year students to prevent them from being put on academic probation or dismissed from the university. I am also the Graduate Advisor for UIC Alpha Sigma, a Pi Tau Sigma chapter. Due to my heavy participation, I have become a part of the National Board of Directors for Pi Tau Sigma.
