- Ascend Sandbox PX/SX (2016-2018)Designed and implemented the Ascend Sandbox, the first hybrid cloud product for Experian CIS. Designed and implemented networking, data flows, security architecture and encryption. Integrated on-prem Centrify and Citrix, AWS IAM roles, AD/Kerberos/PAM, and Cloudera KMS for client-specific data and RBAC controls. Successfully integrated SAS Base with Hadoop in AWS and also H2O.ai, RStudio and JupyterHub. Designed and developed Anaconda deployment strategies to provide model development software for over 2 dozen financial B2B customers. Led technical team for sales and strategy. Helped bring Agile development to Experian.Developed a non-Hadoop Sandbox variant based on AWS Workspaces and AWS Athena in completely private networking space.- Cloud Migration and Adoption (2016 - ongoing)Led the technical team for Experian CIS's migration to cloud. Drove the adoption of cloud technologies for Experian CIS, Experian's largest business unit that deals with Fintech and Bank customers. Worked with Experian's IT business unit to develop architecture patterns, processing patterns, and security patterns. Developed the AWS Organizations structure for Experian CIS accounts. Help design- Technology (2017 - ongoing)Researched and mocked Ethereum smart contract application. Wrote and received a US Patent for securing data in smart contracts. Introduced and drove adoption of Terraform. Currently all Experian CIS infrastructure is developed as code.- Ascend SureProfile, Streaming, Go (2019 - ongoing)One of the principal architects/engineers for Experian's Ascend Platform.

Worked in dataflows and big data systems. Major Projects:Hive/HBase/ZooKeeper/Sqoop Hadoop Research Cluster- Lead in building from scratch a Hadoop 2.2.0/Yarn mini-cluster to analyze billions of rows. Performed optimization on the entire stack, including tuning system params like vm, fs settings, init scripts, and most of all, Hive and Hadoop 2.2.0/Yarn. Tuning resulted in maximum cpu and memory usage for large jobs with input files corresponding to optimal sizes. Started with a series of test Bash scripts for processing terabytes of logs, then converted to Java for, and then incorporated Kryo, Guice and Guava libraries. Used ZooKeeper to coordinate Hive resources and Sqoop to pull required MySQL data from legacy sources.Cassandra-based Conversion Tracking System - Initial lead in scoping problem, spec'ing hardware and design of solution. Developed schema and wrote a well-tested implementation using Netflix's Astyanax. Implementation used an actor-based approach on multiple threads. Not completed but coworker used some code and completed the system with essentially the same schema. End result was a system that performed in minutes what MySQL would require hours to do.
