About Alyssa Bourque
Born and raised in the northeast, winters were long, cold, and a time where the clock seemed to slow. My affinity for health and fitness began when the plea of one of my best friends got me to join our high school track team. My interests and passion for health and wellness carried into my college experience at the University of New England, where I studied Health and Wellness, with an undergrad focus in Occupational Therapy.As I was finishing my bachelor's degree, I was introduced to Sales and Entrepreneurship. I began reading and learning from others like Robert Kiyosaki, Gary Vaynerchuk, and Grant Cardone. I realized in order to live the life I wanted to lead and to become the person I wanted to be, Maine no longer served me. I booked a one way ticket to San Diego having never visited before. I had no apartment, no connections, or jobs lined up.I was able to find a position in San Diego that allowed me the chance to educate others on wellness, while also fortifying my sales skills in prospecting, handling objections, and closing. Our continued education and team values were always centered on personal development, business strategy, and sales. Continued exposure to industry leaders like Robert Kiyosaki and Grant Cardone have lead me to more interest in personal finance and real estate. I truly enjoyed helping others lead happy, healthier, and more wellness-focused lives and feel that this different focus expands another branch of impact I will have on other's overall well-being. I am proud of the experience I had gained in the wellness space, but I have found more joy and excitement in real estate and am looking forward to remaining a student as I learn new skills in this space.I made another major leap yet again, to St Petersburg, FL, where I now reside. My dream is to own multi-family real estate, and I know with my experience, new opportunities, and continued education that I'll be able to create this reality as I expand my knowledge in this space alongside my career in Property Insurance.
