Key Responsibilities:1.Identifying the organisations purchasing needs.2.Building relationships with Overseas as well as Domestic suppliers and negotiating with them for the best price, quantities and delivery timescales.3.Processing requisitions to Purchase order and updating management on the status of Purchase orders.4.Ensuring Purchase order is released on Overseas as well as Domestic supplies for 400+ components.5.Six months forecasting for all components and regular monitoring the demand on monthly basis. Forecasting and capacity mapping in order to strengthen supply chain to meet dynamic market demand.6.Regular follow ups with Overseas and Domestic suppliers and keeping track on production at supplier’s end.7.Daily, weekly, and monthly RM planning of raw materials from domestic suppliers. 8.Regularly monitoring and updating inventory and managing stock levels as per the demand/Customer order visible in SAP.9.Understanding the target market and analysing trends in order to make informed buying decisions.10.Developing Alternate suppliers for availability of RM within short lead time, and cost effective supplies. 11.Monthly vendor Audit and supplier meeting.12.Coordinating with inventory team, management, and stockroom.13.Monitoring the stock quality and escalating any discrepancies to suppliers and management.14.Ensuring payment to suppliers based on set Payment term.
