Communicate effectively in French to conduct high-level Government of Senegal meetings with Security Forces, international donors, and represent the Embassy. Analyze impact and significance of current events: identify points of synergy between projects while leveraging collective expertise to economize resources. Evaluate and write concise briefs on security capabilities, capacities, and needs to maximize information collection, situational awareness, and increase mission representation in the security sector reform. Relationship-build with US law enforcement agencies and international security delegations to minimize duplication of efforts, delineate strategic priorities, and influence program design that promotes collaborative security assistance fostering intelligence-led USG donor assistance.Lead Working Group review of policy and training for law enforcement units: elaborate leadership directives, incorporate lessons learned, and transform policy and procedures adapted to emerging threats to increase public cooperation and operational effectiveness. Promote gender inclusive policing practices: represent INL as key supporter at gender study and gender audit workshops.
