I have 20 years of experience leading small- and large-scale quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methods research and evaluation projects. I am skilled at synthesizing findings into strategic approaches and actionable change. To accomplish my work I have collaborated with nonprofit and community-based organizations, government agencies, foundations, and academics from various disciplines. My focus areas include child maltreatment prevention, suicide prevention, screening for alcohol or drug use, and improvement of hospital-based treatment and follow-up care. At JBA, I support and lead research, evaluation, and technical assistance projects in the child welfare practice area, including those focused on child maltreatment prevention, substance abuse, and systems change.
