CurrentWe are a four-year, fully inclusive non-degree certificate program designed for students with mild intellectual and/or developmental disabilities (IDD). At CharlestonLIFE™, we focus on academics, social development, independent living, and career development to help students grow and thrive. Our mission is to empower students to become as self-determined and independent as possible while learning valuable skills in a supportive, inclusive environment.As a Career Coordinator, I develop and maintain strategic partnerships with local businesses to create valuable internship opportunities for students. I provide comprehensive education and training to students, job coaches, and site supervisors, fostering competitive integrated employment. By facilitating seamless transitions from education to employment, I ensure that students gain practical experience and career readiness.
