About Amanda Freeman

Amanda completed her Bachelor's degree in Life Science with a Microbiology minor at the Pennsylvania State University in 2008 before continuing on to receive her Master's degree from Shenandoah University Physician Assistant Program in 2011. Shortly after graduating she began practicing Family Medicine in Frederick, Maryland for over eight years. During the COVID-19 pandemic she and her family moved to Vienna, Austria where she practiced telemedicine. In 2024 she moved back to the states, taking a position with Presbyterian Medical Group at Española Hospital in New Mexico. Her areas of special interest include Mental Health, Diabetes and Chronic Disease management, and Women's Health. In her free time she enjoys reading, as well as hiking the beautiful trails of Northern New Mexico with her husband, dog, and two children.
