Some expectations you can have for myself, and our team are:• Conducting research and analysis on potential suppliers to assess their suitability for the company• Gathering and evaluating data on suppliers' financial stability, quality control systems, and compliance with regulations and industry standards• Conducting on-site audits or assessments of suppliers to verify the accuracy of information and assess the supplier's operations• Collaborating with internal teams to identify and prioritize critical suppliers• Developing and implementing strategies to mitigate supplier risk• Onboarding new suppliers by coordinating the necessary documentation, processes, and communications• Managing the supplier onboarding process, including tracking progress and ensuring all necessary steps are completed• Maintaining and updating supplier information in the company's database• Providing support to internal teams during the supplier selection process, including participating in RFQs (request for quotes) and RFPs (request for proposals)• Working with the procurement team to negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers
